The three frames

What a frame is
Two layouts, one frame. Each frame has a square layout for your commander’s portrait card and a round one for the medallion on your command deck. One purchase includes both.
Yours for good. A frame belongs to your game account, not to a world. It stays yours in every world and every round, and through world resets.
Cosmetic only. It changes how your portrait looks. No figure, ability or rule changes with it, and it gives no advantage in play.
For its faction. Dockwright is worn by Meridian commanders, Remnant by Vantar and Compact Seal by Kessari.
Not money. A frame is not a currency and has no cash value. It cannot be traded, sold on or moved to another account.
No random rewards. You choose a frame and get exactly that frame: no loot boxes, packs or draws.
One payment. Each frame is bought once. Nothing renews, and there is no subscription.
Where it shows. Once it’s yours, in every world: on your own portrait at the top left of the game screen, and on your commander card, which other players open. Also on the commander page and in Practice.
How to buy a frame
Frames are sold only in the game’s shop, to players signed in to their game account. The alpha is free on Windows: download it.
Start Lunar Protocol and sign in on the main menu.
Press SHOP, at the top right next to the settings gear. It appears once you are signed in.
On SUPPORTER FRAMES, press BUY on the frame you want. Until sales open, the button reads SOON.
BUY opens a checkout page from Stripe in your browser. Check the frame and its price. Before paying, you agree that the frame is delivered at once, which ends your right to withdraw from the purchase. Your card details go to Stripe, never to us.
Go back to the game. The frame shows as OWNED in the shop and is ready to wear.
Wearing your frame
Open the commander page, the one with the steps 1 NAME to 4 FACE. On a world where you have no commander yet, press CREATE YOUR COMMANDER. Otherwise press the pencil next to your commander’s name in the world’s briefing.
In 4 FACE, under the faces, the FRAME row shows NONE and your faction’s frame. Click your frame to wear it. A frame you have just bought is worn already.
A frame you don’t own shows a padlock, and clicking it opens it in the shop. Each faction keeps its own choice.
Refunds and help
A frame is delivered as soon as you pay, so it can’t be returned for a change of mind. It’s always refunded if it never arrives, doesn’t work, or was charged twice or without your permission. See the refund policy.
